Winchester, MA Sally Roy, is a education researcher who has developed an academic resource site for college students. OnlineSchools.org (http://www.onlineschools.org/) aims to create a premier portal for learning that consists of both formal and informal learning resources. onlineschools.org has published a free Guide to Open Access Journals that includes a curated list of free, peer reviewed journals and journal databases from a number of disciplines.
Roy says, "We put this together knowing that people like the convenience of online research even though it can return questionable results. Our hope is to let students and professionals know that there's actually a lot of good information out there, it's just a matter of knowing where to find it."
