IT'S A WRAP: The 2013 DuraSpace Community Sponsorship Campaign

Winchester, MA Many thanks to our community for the success of this year's Sponsorship Campaign. The total 2013 sponsor dollars raised was $716,370 enabling DuraSpace to provide expanded opportunities for growth and collaboration to our open source projects, DSpace and Fedora. In addition the generous, ongoing institutional contributions of developer time, talent and commitment are critical to the success of DSpace and Fedora. We deeply appreciate your support.

A few facts:

• Total 2013 sponsor dollars raised was $716,370; Fedora $413,833; DSpace $163,233; General fund $139,304

• 71% or $298,620 growth in total sponsorship dollars over last year overall, and $240,833 of the increase coming from the Fedora community to sponsor the Fedora 4 project.

• The total number of sponsors increased from 86 in 2012 to 98 in 2013 or 14% growth year on year.
