CALL: ALCTS Metadata Interest Group at ALA Midwinter Meeting

The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group invites proposals for
presentations at its meeting at the 2013 ALA Midwinter Meeting in Seattle, Washington, on Sunday, January 27th from 8:30 to 10:00 am.
Presentations focusing on current topics and practices that relate to the role of preservation metadata in digital preservation are preferred. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
• Tools and workflows for capturing preservation metadata
• Tools and strategies for implementing preservation metadata
• Systems or process modifications to support preservation metadata
Presentations should be 20 minutes in length. To submit a proposal for presentation, please email a brief description of your proposed topic to Maureen Walsh (email@example.com) by Friday, November 9, 2012.
