The migration to a new web services framework in Fedora 3.6 as well as updates to existing third-party libraries introduced a number of new dependencies, which substantially increased the number of libraries used by Fedora. Fedora 3.6.1 reduces the number of dependencies in the Fedora webapp from 106MB to 66MB.

Fedora 3.6.1 also addresses a number of issues that were unaddressed by 3.6 as well as two minor issues discovered in 3.6 itself.

You are encouraged to download this new release and give it a spin. Please let us have your comments and feedback via the mailing lists, and of course, please let us know of any problems you discover.

For a detailed list of bug fixes and improvements comprising this release see the release notes.
