This year’s program includes an outstanding lineup of speakers offering 3 pre-conference workshops, keynote presentations by Michele Kimpton of DSpace and Ed Fox of NDLTD as well as 24 breakout sessions covering a variety of relevant topics ranging from discussions on implementation, intellectual property and preservation issues to sharing best practices among the ETD community. Complete program details are available online: http://www.usetda.org/?page_id=1210.
USETDA 2012 is designed for ETD professionals from graduate schools, libraries and information technology sectors who work with ETDs or ETD programs. Our focus will be on relevant and current ETD issues with an emphasis on sharing best-practices and resources within the U.S. The Conference is also open to colleagues outside the U.S. – anyone is welcome to attend this national venue. This year we are expecting over 125 participants to attend from around the U.S. as well as abroad.
