Ithaca, NY The Hydra Partners held their quarterly meeting at Stanford March 28-30. Early votes tallied during the proceedings showed attendees favoring a meeting that focused on social cohesion followed by community and technical roadmapping along with partner updates.

The meeting began with a discussion of Matt Zumwalt's analysis of what goes into a Hydra software stack that is "pragmatic, reusable and specific from the bottom up." Major developments included a technical development plan for leveraging the full capabilities of Rails 3 in the Hydra Stack, plus in depth discussions on Hydra on DuraCloud, and authorization strategies for video delivery. The next Hydra Partners meeting will be in June at the University of Virginia.
