Repositories and CRIS: Working Smartly Together

Nottingham, UK The latest event for the Repository Support Project: "Repositories and CRIS (Current Research Information Systems): Working smartly together. Conference and Software Exhibition," will take place at Nottingham University Park Conference Centre on July 19, 2011. This one-day event is free of charge to participants.
This event will explore the interaction of Repositories and CRIS systems and share findings of the JISC funded RePosit Project, which seeks to increase uptake of a web-based repository deposit tool embedded in a researcher-facing publications management system. Institutions involved in RePosit are University of Leeds , Keele University, Queen Mary University of London, University of Exeter and University of Plymouth, with Symplectic Ltd as a commercial partner.
In addition to this we have invited leading suppliers of Repository software and CRIS software to take part in our Suppliers exhibition which will run alongside the conference in our refreshments area. To date we have confirmed EPrints; EQUELLA; ExLibris; Open Repository; Sherpa Services; Symplectic;
and additional Exhibitors will be confirmed as we proceed.
