Ithaca, NY Registration for the Fifth International Conference on Open Repositories (OR10) to be held July 6-9, 2010 is now open. Standard registration which includes conference, registration, materials, lunches, refreshment breaks, poster reception and conference dinner is 315 euros ($398 USD). Options for one and two day registration packages are also available. Find more information here http://or2010.fecyt.es/.
Several meetings and events will be held in conjunction with OR10.
• PROGRAM The OR10 Program Committee is in the process of arranging 114 oral presentations, 50 posters, a panel and user group sessions into an exciting program which will be available by mid-May.
• PASIG Join DuraSpace, Stanford University, Oxford University and others for the next Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG) for a full day meeting on July 5, 2010, one day prior to OR10 in Madrid. Details available soon.
• DEVELOPER CHALLENGE The Developer Challenge at Open Repositories 2010 is on. This year the Challenge is to, “Create a functioning repository user-interface, presenting a single metadata record which includes as many automatically created, useful links to related, external content as possible.”
