Ithaca, NY Stuart Lewis serves as the Community Release Manager for DSpace 1.6. He coordinates with DSpace developers and community members along with DuraSpace staff members, to work towards releasing the best possible version of DSpace 1.6 now scheduled for early March. With several new community-requested features in the release line-up including: enhanced statistics; an embargo facility; the ability to accomplish batch metadata editing; improved documentation; authority control lists; and community administration, Lewis has published a new blog post explaining what those key changes and features will mean for you.
