What is the relationship between the current E-Science Institute and the original course offering by ARL/DLF?
The current course is an updated version of the original Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) / Digital Library Federation (DLF) E-Science Institute, incorporating feedback from course participants and faculty. Going forward the DuraSpace organization is managing and facilitating the course in partnership with CLIR/DLF. The content covered in the current course is very much the same, but it has been updated and improved and the course length has been shortened from 6 months to 4 months. DuraSpace is also pleased to be offering this course at a reduced price and to a broader audience, as it is now available to any institution, not just ARL or DLF members.
