Ithaca, NY ARROW hosted about 25 Fedora users and developers in Melbourne, Australia on February 8, 2008 to review projects and share information about Fedora repositories across Australia and beyond. Thornton Staples, Director of Community Strategy and Outreach for Fedora Commons, was on hand to talk about the latest version of Fedora 3.0 Beta, and plans for Fedora Commons going forward. Representatives from institutional repositories, e-research initiatives, and interesting mutimedia projects such as the Dictionary of Sydney were there to learn more about Fedora Commons and Mulgara. Chi Nguyen presented Muradora’s new features that include the ability to create multiple instances against one repository. Christian Kortekaas reviewed Fez developments and Martyn George presented recent work from the University of South Australia.
