Winchester, MA  The Digital Library Federation Fall Forum (http://dlfforum2015.sched.org, #DLFforum) will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 26-28, 2015. Fedora product manager David Wilcox will offer a hands-on Fedora 4 Workshop on Tuesday, Oct 27 from 9:00am - 12:00pm:

This workshop provides an introduction to Fedora 4, with a focus on the latest features. After an initial overview, participants will use a pre-configured virtual machine environment to participate in a hands-on session that will give them a chance to explore Fedora 4 by following step-by-step instructions. This section will demonstrate how to create and manage content in Fedora 4 in accordance with linked data best practices. Finally, participants will learn how to integrate Fedora 4 with external applications and services, including triplestores and search indices, using the well-established Apache Camel framework.
