From Mike Conlon, VIVO Project Director
We want to hear from you. We are conducting a short survey of all organizations considering VIVO, implementing VIVO or maintaining VIVO. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and does not require technical expertise. Please help us set new directions for VIVO by sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. The survey is anonymous. We would be happy to hear from each member of the VIVO community. Survey results will be tabulated and presented in a poster at the VIVO Conference in Denver August 17-19, and on this wiki following the conference.
Please take 10 minutes to share your thoughts about VIVO with us. The survey is here: https://goo.gl/rkr964

The site uses ElasticSearch to provide a CU Experts Map. You can find the site here: http://experts.colorado.edu Congratulations to the CU Experts team on an outstanding VIVO site!
Supporting VIVO through membership. Are you using VIVO software? The VIVO-ISF ontology? Vitro software? Is your organization a member of Duraspace supporting the VIVO project? Are you interested in seeing VIVO continue to advance the representation of scholarship and the showcasing of scholarly work? Membership provides the financial support we need to sustain the project. Our members participate in the governance of the project through the VIVO Leadership Group, the Steering Group, and an annual meeting, the Duraspace Summit in Washington DC, held each March. If you are a member, we greatly appreciate your support. If you are not a member, please consider becoming a member. Becoming a member is very simple – and there are various levels of membership to support various budgets. See http://bit.ly/dura-join to learn more. If you would like to arrange to discuss membership, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would be happy to speak with you about membership.

The call is the best place for newcomers to VIVO to share their questions about all things VIVO, and in particular, share approaches to engaging faculty and others in the use of VIVO at their organization.
