Winchester, MA  The upcoming offering of the E-Science Institute will be the final opportunity for institutions to take advantage of the course. Originally developed by ARL and CLIR/ DLF, the course is designed to help academic and research libraries develop a strategic agenda for e-research support. The last offering of the Institute will begin on December 5,  2013 and run through April 3, 2014.

NOW AVAILABLE: Avalon 2.0–Enables Pilot Implementations at Partner Institutions

Indianapolis, IN  Release 2.0 of the Avalon Media System, an open source system for managing large collections of digital audio and video files, is now available. One goal of this release is to enable successful pilot implementations at partner institutions.
