Today the DSpace Committers are proud to announce DSpace 3.2, a new bug-fix / security-fix release for the 3.x platform.

DSpace 3.2 addresses a number of issues that were found to affect 3.0 or 3.1. These fixes include:

  • Several bug fixes to the OAI-PMH interface
  • Resolved memory leak in JSPUI
  • Resolved security issue in JSPUI
  • Several minor configuration / build fixes
  • Other minor fixes

Winchester, MA  At the recent Open Repositories Conference, held in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island in Canada, a draft 3-5 Year Vision for the DSpace platform was introduced as well as a brief overview of the DSpace 2013 RoadMap.

Report from the DSpace User Group Meeting Held in Conjunction with OAI8

Heverlee, Belgium  Participants from 9 countries convened on June 18 in Geneva, Switzerland for an intensive one-day DSpace User Group Meeting. The group was a mix of developers, repository managers and service providers. This mix generated many ideas and discussions in an atmosphere of mutual respect and enthusiasm for the DSpace platform. Read on for some of the interesting bits that came up during the course of the day.
