Washington, DC SPARC (The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) has announced it will host its first North American meeting on Open Access in 2012. The first of its kind, the event will expand on the successful biennial SPARC Digital Repositories meeting.

DuraSpace at NDIIPP/NDSA Meeting

Winchester, MA If you plan to travel to the Library of Congress NDIIPP/NDSA partners meeting being held in Washington, DC, July 19-21, please take note of two DuraSpace events. A DuraCloud poster and demonstration will be occurring on Tuesday, July 19 beginning at 4:30pm. The following day, Michele Kimpton will discuss sustaining an open source community during the 12:30pm to 1:30pm lunch session.

There will be several DuraSpace team members attending the meeting, so we look forward to talking with you in DC!

CURATEcamp is a series of unconference-style events focused on connecting practitioners and technologists interested in digital curation.
