Edinburgh, Scotland  The University of Edinburgh with support from the Digital Curation Centre, EDINA, and Edinburgh University Library are delighted to announce that after its temporary incorporation into Open Repositories 2012 the Repository Fringe will return as a standalone event this year to be held in the Informatics Forum from 31 July to 2 August 2013. The Open Library of Humanities: Building Open Access with Academic Capital

Winchester, MA  Though unafilliated with the successful Public Library of Science (PLOS), the new Open Library of Humanities (OLH) initiative has been inspired by the PLOS open megajournal model–if the sciences can do it why not the humanities and social sciences? The OHL mission is to provide a platform for Open Access publishing that is:

A Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG) Boot Camp Webinar: Digital Preservation in Theory and Practice
