Dryad recently launched a redesigned web site powered by DSpace at http://datadryad.org with lots of new content. The Dryad Digital Repository is a curated resource that makes the data underlying scientific publications discoverable, freely reusable, and citable providing a general-purpose home for diverse datatypes.

Washington, DC  The deadline for submitting a proposal for Digital Preservation 2013 is April 26. The meeting will be held July 23-25 in the Washington DC area and will bring the the broad, diverse digital preservation and stewardship community together to share achievements in the areas technical infrastructure, innovation, content collection, standardization, and outreach and education efforts.

Fedora Futures Launches New Blog

Winchester, MA  The Fedora Futures team recently launched a blog entitled, Fedora Futures, aimed at telling the stories behind building the future of the Fedora repository. The first post is from  Edwin Shin, Fedora Futures Project Manager, and Tom Cramer, Stanford University.
