CALL: IADIS International Conference Mobile Learning 2011

Avila, Spain The IADIS Mobile Learning 2011 International Conference scheduled for March 10-12, 2011 in Avila Spain will provide a forum for the discussion and presentation of mobile learning research. In particular, but not exclusively, we aim to explore the theme of mobile learning under the following topics:

• Pedagogical approaches and theories for mobile lifelong learning. For instance, situated, contextual and authentic mobile lifelong learning

• Social software for mobile learning

US National Learning Registry Announced to Increase Access to Online Educational Content

Ithaca, NY Making sure that the wealth of digital learning and information resources that are now freely available on the Web reach teachers, students and families when and where they need them is a priority in the US and around the world. In a major step forward towards meeting this goal The US Secretary of Education, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) and Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution announced the US National Learning Registry.
