Tim will provide details about how to preserve DSpace content with DuraCloud that will include short demonstration of how to backup content from a DSpace instance to DuraCloud via the Replication Task Suite  DSpace component add-on.

The meeting will be held July 23-25 in the Washington DC area and will bring the the broad, diverse digital preservation and stewardship community together to share achievements in the areas technical infrastructure, innovation, content collection, standardization, and outreach and education efforts.

2013 DuraCloud Brown Bag Series Kicks Off February 27th

Winchester, MA The DuraCloud team will host the first brown bag session of 2013 on Wednesday, February 27th at 12:30pm ET. February's brown bag session will detail the ways in which the Preservation subscription plans differ from the Enterprise subscription plans, specifically highlighting the differences between features and price as well as the types of use cases that are best suited for each subscription plan option.

Winchester, MA  COAR (Coalition of Open Access Repositories) Executive Director Alicia Lopez Medina recently conducted a video interview with DuraSpace CEO Michele Kimpton to learn more about DuraCloud, and plans for DSpace and Fedora development in the next year and over the next three years. She also asked Kimpton for her views on major driving forces in Open Access repository development and more.
