4Science News: From North American DSUG to ORCID to COAR to OpenAIRE–4Science Community Engagement

4Science looks forward to participating in the 2019 DSpace North American User Group Meeting. Join us on September 23 & 24, 2019 at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. There is an exciting program starting with DSpace 7 on the first day. We will provide the opportunity to learn about how to enhance your DSpace repository with special features for research information and data management, and for cultural heritage, using DSpace extensions such as DSpace-CRIS and DSpace-GLAM. 4Science was awarded for the implementation of the OpenAIRE-CRIS-CERIF Guidelines in DSpace-CRIS (https://www.4science.it/en/2019/05/23/4science-awarded-for-the-implementation-of-the-openaire-cris-cerif-guidelines-in-dspace-cris/). At the moment three pilots are running: the Technical University Hamburg in Germany, the University of Trieste in Italy, and the University of Technology in Cyprus. The three institutions are working together with 4Science to test the implementation with the aim of releasing it for the whole community.
