User Group Meetings

The DSpace user community has at least one major meetup per year held in conjunction with the Open Repositories Conference. While it is not always a formal meeting, DSpace users/developers have a strong presence at Open Repositories, often presenting software updates, teaching workshops, and providing updates on community activities.

In addition to Open Repositories, the DSpace user community has a number of regional User Groups which host meetings on a regular basis. These regional meetings are locally organized, with support from DuraSpace, but welcome anyone to attend. The primary language of these meetings differs per user group, and meetings may be hosted in person or online (or a combination of both).

For information about user group meetings near you, see our list of DSpace User Groups. If a user group doesn’t exist in your region and you are interested in establishing one, please get in touch.
