Fedora has a worldwide installed user base that includes academic and cultural heritage organizations, universities, research institutions, university libraries, national libraries, and government agencies. Over 300 organizations in more than 35 countries have registered their Fedora installations. The map below is based on this registry, as well as data from the Islandora and Samvera communities.
Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date list of implementations is valuable service to the community – in particular, it helps new and prospective Fedora adopters get a sense of the size and diversity of the Fedora community. If you are the maintainer of a Fedora-based repository, please register your site or update your entry in the registry.
